INTRODUCTION
This research is about the community involvement and sustainable rural tourism development among perspectives from the local communities Kampung Annah Rais and Kampung Darul Islam Belimbing, Kuching Sarawak. This study's analysis of the relationship between local community involvement and sustainable rural tourism development. These activities included social, cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability as well as participation in decision-making.
Research Problems or Problem Statement
- Mass tourism, which was unaware of the components of sustainable rural tourism development, has an impact on social, cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability.
- Lot of tourist officials and stakeholders disregarded this crucial truth and resisted local people' participation in the growth of rural tourism.
- The absence of community participation in rural tourism is a result of paternalism, racism, clientelism, a lack of competence, and a lack of financial resources, in addition to paternalism and clientelism.
